Our first day on the Freedom Tour, NYC, April 12

There were many cool things in NYC today, even though we only scratched the surface of stuff to see. We went to Central Park, went on a boat to see the Statue of Liberty, and then we ate at Katz’s Deli.
Central park was beautiful and amazing, with flowers in full bloom and grass a pretty green, it was a wonderful sight. There were lots of strange rocks jutting sharply out of the ground, and massive trees that were extremely tall and incredibly old.
The statue of Liberty was an amazing sight as well. The ferry took us around Ellis Island. Even though we weren’t aloud on the island, it could still be seen perfectly. The statue was really cool to see, and it could be seen at almost all times on the boat.
Last but not least, Katz’s Deli. It was just plain awesome. The food was great. There were lots of pictures on the wall of famous people that have gone there. The food was amazing, the sandwiches were monstrously huge, and the taste was as big as the size.  The sandwiches were so big that even with splitting them with another person, some of us couldn’t even finish half.  It was a truly awesome deli.
The day was great, with all the sights we’ve seen in just the first day. What a way to start out the tour!
